24th November is getting closer, the big day when San Sebastian Marathon will be held in the streets of San Sebastian. This is why we thought it would be a good idea to tell you about the route.
As you know, in San Sebastian you run at sea level, which is ideal for long distance races. The route is practically flat and it passes by some of the most emblematic places in town such as its renowned La Concha Beach.
Marathon runners complete two laps (one lap for half marathon runners) in a route which has been designed to `fly´ as 65% of participants improve their PB in San Sebastian year after year. The start line is very close to Anoeta football Stadium and the finish line is set up inside the athletics track in Anoeta MiniStadium. You can check the whole route in this 3D video.
